„Spurensuche“ wird international!
Letzte Woche wurde erfolgreich unser alljährlich stattfindendes Projekt „Landschaft hinter der Schule“ beendet. Bereits acht Staaten nahmen dieses Jahr teil: Tschechien, die Slowakei, Ungarn, Polen, Litauen, Großbritannien, Deutschland und die Türkei. An dem Projekt waren zahlreiche Schulen beteiligt, deren Schüler sich auf eine historische Spurensuche in ihrer Region begaben.
Nächste Woche werden bereits erste Ausstellungen zu dem Projekt „Landschaft hinter der Schule“ in Ungarn und der Türkei zu sehen sein. Im Sommer werden vermutlich weitere Ausstellungen in Polen und Litauen realisiert.

Beyond the school
The Beyond the school project deals in the main with local history, environmental education, geography, the natural sciences, social sciences and computer education. It can also be used to develop pupils’ interpersonal skills, their ability to communicate effectively and to provide a context for the exploration of key issues in personal, social and health education and citizenship. The basis of this cross curricular project is an active approach by the students to the things that surround them: their school, the places where they live, their home town and wider local area.

Welcome Beyond the School!
Dear visitors,
this is the website of the Project Beyond the School Network.
The aim of the project is creation of a new intercultural partnership and the exchange of information among adult learners. Partnerships will support adult education through sharing best practices from already running project Beyond the school and develop new project ideas. The Beyond the school project is based on the concept of using ICT in community research work while discovering historical changes in the architecture, nature and culture. The project outcomes are the comparative materials of the history and presence related to particular schools, museums, national parks, architecture chambers etc. participating in the project activities. The project has been running in the Czech Republic since 2005 and in other countries involved since 2006.
